Iconic Images Recreated With ‘Star Wars’

Canada-based photographer David Eger recreated iconic photographs, movie posters and album covers using Star Wars figures.

In his project entitled ‘Cloned Photos’, clone troopers, Leia, Bobba Fatt, are the stars of Alfred Eisenstaedt’s’The Kiss’, Grant Wood’s ‘American Gothic’, Beatles’ ‘Abbey Road’ cover shot, Charles C Ebbets’ ‘Lunchtime Atop a Skyscraper’, Andy Warhols’ ‘The Marilyns’, Henri Cartier-Bresson’s ‘Decisive Moment’ and the likes.

“Although the concept of recreating historical images is not original, I believe I have put a new twist on the idea,” Eger wrote about his series. “Cloned Photos uses Clone Troopers and other Star Wars characters to recreate important and historical images.”
