Unlike the modern games of today—with fancy graphics and environments—classic retro games were based on simple geometric shapes and designs.
German photographer Patrick Runte has reimagined what these games might look like if they were interpreted in real life.
In a playful and quirky photo project titled ‘Jump ‘N’ Run’, it shows people dressing up as characters from various retro games—such as Pac-man, Space Invaders and Tetris—giving viewers a feel of how ‘fun’ it would be if pixelated games were real.
What other retro games would you like to see in real life?
