Japanese e-commerce platform Panoplaza has created two new virtual shops, allowing visitors to explore these online shops from the comfort of their homes.
By using keyboard or mouse commands, users are able to navigate themselves through these virtual stores and inspect the products on display—like a realistic in-store experience.
Designed with photos stitched together using panoramic web layout, users are able to check out Nissen’s ‘Smileland Virtual Shop’ and ShinQ’s ‘Virtual Switchroom’.
If you are feeling cheeky, the virtual stores even let you check out the female restroom!
But will this ever replace the real-life experience?
