Olivier Prat of France-based Zvork Visual Programming has developed a free online studio lighting simulator, called Virtual Lighting Studio, to test lighting setups.
The program doesn’t require any installation and lets you play around with various options, such as strobes, soft boxes, ring lights, light type, gel and positioning.
The simulator updates in real-time on the virtual model’s head so you can save exposures to compare different setups.
