Using Beer, Scientist Explains Advanced Camera Technology

German image sensor scientist Joachim Linkemann has creatively used beer analogy to demonstrate image sensor technology concepts.

Using a glass of beer as if it was the pixel on an image sensor, Linkemann illustrates concepts like signal-to-noise, dynamic range and dark noise.

And according to him, it has worked (why wouldn’t it?).
